Giving back to the one who first gave
Giving back to the one who first gave
On Sundays and Wednesdays services, as part of our corporate worship, we cheerfully respond to God’s generosity towards His church by placing checks or cash in the offering bags, which are typically passed around during offertory time. If you are someone who loves the Lord Jesus Christ and wish to give gift to the church for its various ministries, please sign up and register on this website with the desired amount of your one-time gift or regular monthly donation to Hayward Free Methodist Church.
You can give towards the mission and vision of Hayward FMC through our General Fund or you can give toward a specific ministry, event or mission trip. Donations are 100% tax deductible as our church holds its own 501(c)3 letter. When you give to Hayward FMC General Fund, it is used to support the ongoing ministries and operations of the Church. If you have questions on the financial and operational management of Hayward FMC, please email our Senior Pastor, Rev. Ben Martinez at haywardfreemethodistchurch@gmail.com. You may also earmark any donations to support our partner organizations, to scholarships, youth and family camps, or to support our world missions.
We do ask that our regularly attending members keep track of their own giving throughout the year. Year end giving statements will be sent to each donor who gives above $250 within the calendar year. These statements will be delivered to the donor either by electronic email or postal mail using the address provided by the donor.
At Hayward FMC we believe that everything we have is owned by our God and He provides us according to the riches of His grace and love. (Numbers 14:8, 1 John 4:7, Hebrews 13:1).
With the foregoing passages as our divine inspiration, we encourage each follower of Christ to prayerfully consider and evaluate what our triune God is calling them to love and give. Giving generously should be an active and inspirational piece of our regular worship and service to Jesus. Our goal is to be Christ-like in our generosity. Our Lord Jesus’ death and resurrection is the most generous gift ever given by God to humanity. When God’s love and generosity take root in our lives, we cheerfully give to uplift the lives of others. In so doing, we become faithful and loving children of God, the Most High.
